Old Lady Podcast March 9, 2026
Happy Monday from Long Beach, where it is somehow already 90 degrees and my knitting hands are SUFFERING.
This week on Old Lady Podcast, we’re catching up on a genuinely lovely week full of girl’s weekends, early dinners, and some very important life decisions. Julia finished her MBA and now it’s time to treat herself to a new car, so we spent Saturday test driving SUVs and getting the full dealership experience (some better than others 👀).
We’re talking Lexus vs. Audi, a Honda salesman who needed AN HOUR to find car keys, and why your mechanic’s opinion might be the most important one of all.
We also chat about our upcoming family reunion plans, why an Airbnb with a pool might be the answer to everything, and of course... books. Three of them this week, including one that had SO much potential and just didn’t quite get there.
It’s a cozy, chatty episode, and honestly, the perfect thing to listen to while you’re doing something with your hands. You know, like knitting. If it’s not too hot.
